ABOUT US

Founded in Fall 2019, Universal Health Aid Cleveland is an organization composed of undergraduate students at Case Western Reserve University. We are a chapter of the national organization Universal Health Aid, which was founded in response to the absence of preventive health care for the growing number of uninsured and under-insured individuals within the United States.

Universal Health Aid recognizes that regular medical checkups, health education, and improved lifestyles can play a large part in improving the overall well-being of the community. Our overall mission is to address these concerns to improve the overall health conditions of present and future generations.

Our organization’s goals include: providing free preventive health screenings for the uninsured and under-insured, organizing health education initiatives, offering medical services in under-served regions, increasing awareness about declining health conditions within the United States, and building a new generation of community-oriented leaders to continue these programs in the future.
