BENEFIT RENEWAL

The Ohio Department of Medicaid must recheck eligibility every 12 months. To renew your benefits,

  • Fill out the packet they send to your stated address

  • Go to “renew your benefits” on benefits.ohio.gov

  • Visit your county Job and Family Services office.

Remember to

  • check your insurance card for its expiration date

  • renew your benefits before this deadline

  • notify your Job and Family Services office if your address changes.

If you find you do not qualify for Ohio Medicaid, you still may qualify for help paying for insurance on the federal Health Insurance Marketplace. See HealthCare.gov or call the federal hotline at (800) 318-2596 for more information.
